Learn the art and skills behind the coils: Tap into traditional techniques to make unique forms “off the wheel”

March 28 @ 2-5:30pm
March 29 @ 10-4pm

Cost: $175
This two day course will take you on a foundational handbuilding journey to explore making “coil pots”. Through variety of techniques and methods, each day will build your skills and understanding of form/structure to turn your vision into reality. You will have the chance to make both small and large forms that can be functional or sculptural, you decide!
Come with a reference/idea or let your spontaneous creativity take hold; explore vases, lamp bases, sculptural forms, and more!
All materials including clay and tools are included in the workshop registration fee
Bisque firing will be included, glazing can be accommodated at an extra cost for non members
Refunds are accepted up to 7 days prior to a class or workshop start date, less an admin fee of $50 for classes/workshops worth $200 and up, or $25 for those below $200. Refunds are not possible within 7 days of a class or workshop commencing.
