Yes it does! Join us in this handbuilding workshop for two <3
Cost:
$180+GST per couple (one purchase of $180+GST is a spot for 2 people)
4 couple spots available per event
We supply everything on the pottery side, all you have to do is show up and be ready to get a little muddy with someone special! Feel free to bring any food or drinks you wish, but please be responsible and respectful.
The event will run approximately 2.5hrs long which includes time for clean up and socializing.
Please be certain that you are able to make your selected date as these classes are NON REFUNDABLE, NON TRANSFERABLE, and NON EXCHANGEABLE.
**All events and classes at mudlab are 18+**
Whats the program?
This event is designed to give you and your partner a fun and engaging intro to handbuilding (this means not on the wheel).
Each couple will have the chance to make one pinch pot* individually and then collaboratively make 2 mugs or cups, for a total of 4 items per couple!!
You’ll have the freedom to be as creative as you like; you can attach clay and add designs to a your piece, or keep it simple and make a small bud vase for some flowers. We will guide you and show you various techniques to help you along the way, but what you make is up to you!
Once your items are complete you can choose your glazes and your instructor will finish the remaining steps (kiln firing and glazing) on your behalf, easy!
*Pinch Pot: a form made by gently pinching and shaping a ball of clay. This might be the most basic and traditional way of making pots, but don’t be fooled into thinking you can’t create something masterful!
