Thrown and Altered
A transformational two day workshop where students will learn to step outside the ‘circle’ and explore the possibilities of altering forms thrown on the wheel!
In this two day workshop, acclaimed ceramic artist Charmian Nimmo (Kingsmill/Shadbolt) will guide you through the process of planning, designing, throwing, and altering a variety of forms to create objects like square boxes, curved pitchers and vases bringing new life and shape to standard wheel thrown forms!
*Previous experience required: Must be able to confidently center and throw a cylinder with at least 3-5lbs.

Cost: $140 +GST
Bisque firing is included, glaze firing can be accommodated for an extra fee. Regular members are welcome to glaze their pieces in drop ins.
All clay and basic tools are included in your registration. If you wish to use a bat to take your work home, please bring your own, we also have some available for purchase.
